Earth Day Seed Bombs
Happy Earth Day! Looking for something fun and simple to do with your kids today to give back to our planet? Planting pollinator seeds, native to your area, is a great way to celebrate our Earth and help take care of our ecosystem! Plus, these cute and festive Earth Day seed bombs are a fun sensory craft activity and perfect to pass out to your friends and neighbors.
All you need are flower seeds of your choice, construction paper, and water. To create Earth-looking seed bombs we used blue, white, and green construction paper.
Step 1: Make paper pulp. You can either create the pulp by adding paper and water to a blender OR make this a fun sensory activity by having your kiddos hand tear paper in water to create a pulp.
Step 2: Mix flower seeds with paper pulp, shape into a ball and squeeze out excess water (or press flat to make seed paper).
Step 3: Plant right away in a sunny, flowerless patch of ground, or let dry and share with others.
