Naturing in the Woods: Camps

2025 Summer Camp registration is open!

Naturing in the Woods are camps are for children 4 - 10 years old, to independently explore outside with our leaders. Each camp runs Monday - Friday with a variety of activities centered on the week’s theme. Camps are designed to inspire imaginations and spark outdoor play - campers are always encouraged to follow their interests and what the parks present to us!

Each Naturing in the Woods camp runs Monday - Friday. Drop off is between 8:30AM - 8:45AM; pick-up is 11:45AM - 12:00PM. Simple, low allergen snacks and drinking water are always available to campers.

Enchanted Forest: Immerse your child in a whimsical world where magical creatures come to life through a blend of imaginative play and nature exploration. From crafting fairy houses to engaging in potion play, every day promises enchanting adventures that spark creativity and ignite the spirit of wonder.

Wild Art: Creative and messy fun while making art inspired by nature and the land. There are endless possibilities to create with mud, clay, sticks, rocks, flowers and plants. Let’s get wild with art!

Tales on the Trail: A nature-themed storytelling camp! A unique blend of nature exploration, imaginative play, and theatrical expression, promising a week filled with creativity, camaraderie, and the magic of storytelling.

July 28-Aug 1, Lake Farm Park (Sold out—join waitlist below)

May the Forest be with You: Slow down, breathe deep, and awaken your senses in this mindfulness-focused nature camp. Campers will practice being present in the moment and connecting deeply with the natural world around them through sensory games, peaceful hikes, nature art, and sit spots. Together we will learn to appreciate the beauty, rhythms, and magic of the forest—where the force of nature is all around us!

Around the Campfire: This camp is all about exploring nature and building community “around the campfire”! We will play games, tell stories, set up shelters, and practice fire safety, building, and cooking at the many fireplaces around the Park.

CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to withdraw from a camp for any reason, please inform us in writing. Consideration will be given to extenuating circumstances, such as medical reasons with a doctor’s note.
• More than one month prior to the start of camp, you are eligible to transfer your registration to another camp pending availability, full credit toward a future program, or receive a refund (less a 20% administration and processing fee).
• More than two weeks prior to the start of camp, you are eligible to transfer your registration to another camp pending availability, full credit towards a future program, or receive a 50% refund.
• Less than two weeks prior to the start of the camp, you are eligible to transfer your registration to another camp pending availability or a partial credit towards a future program, but no refund will be given.
• Once camps start, refunds will not be issued for non-attendance.
